IWJG August 2011 Los Angeles Show Report

Los Angeles was a great success, plain and simple. All of our Summer Shows for 2011 have been great! First, Chicago in June, showed very strong growth. Then New York in July was our largest New York Show ever! Now Los Angeles is a whopping 400% increase over our August Show in Atlanta in 2010.

We had so many members, make a point of telling us how much they LOVED the venue and the show. Joe Akar, Brett Kopelman, and Greg Moss all said that LA was a very good show for them. Fred Hakimian, James Dowling, Gabe Arik and Drew Knohl all reported a very, very good show. Mike Fonz, Issac Katz and Gary Zumalt praised Los Angeles as being one of their best shows. Here is the bottom line every one we talked to (including Jacob Fried's daughter) had one recurring theme... "We have got to come back to Los Angeles." Guess what, the International Watch and Jewelry Guild will return to Los Angeles in August, 2012.

Monday night was a special evening thanks in a large part to the support of Mike Fonz and Jewel Systems. The post show reception featured Leon Hughes and his original Coasters band. The Original Coasters entertained with a 30 minute set of their greatest hits including Poison Ivy, Yakity Yak, Searchin', Charlie Brown, Love Potion #9 and many, many more. Ask Vern and Connie Massey and they will tell you "a good time was had by all." Thanks again to Mike and the JWLS family.

A quick update…..based on your demand for a December Show, the IWJG will be in Houston Texas on December 5th and 6th, 2011 for our final show of the year. We will notify you of the venue early next week. You asked for it, we've booked it, now let's all support Houston in December!

The International Watch and Jewelry Guild Show on September 19th and 20th at the all new Tropicana at 3801 Las Vegas Blvd South is already well past 2010 registrations with almost a month to go. Our room block is sold out, the Hotel is sold out, the IWJG Ballroom will sellout and you just can't miss the first great show of the Fall Selling Season. We hate to sound like a broken record but please call ASAP and let us help you have a great Las Vegas Show. Oh Boy…..Las Vegas Here We Come!
